Philly Inquirer LTTE: New word (Palindrone)
If nothing else, Sarah Palin's oratory has gifted the English language, or at least the American version of it, with a new word: Palindrone.
It is a noun defined as a seemingly interminable, practically insufferable, desultory, ideological philippic laboriously memorized and regurgitated with revolting perkiness that haphazardly strings together a mixed-up, grammatically confusing jumble of words, near-words, thoughts, near-thoughts and incomplete thoughts that when recited backward vainly spouts the same tried and tired platitudes as when read forward: nothing.

1. i read further down,
i love how repubs can't admit it is de-regulation that has allowed fannie/freddie and all of those other financial institutions to sell cds's, it's not just faulty mortgages. the banks don't trust each other because they all know how dirty they have been. somehow it is the fault of dems and fan/fred only. no word of rick and his company accepting money for influence at the very banks they are blaming dems for supporting.

3. Paul Gigot of the WSJ on MTP this morning said blaming deregulation is 'simplistic.'

Brokaw was his charming self, steering the discussion to an anti-Obama debate. He asked the panel to name one thing Obama has done in this whole bailout legislative process. Never asked the same question about Crash. That's just a sample of how that went.
