Does Palin sleep with a terrorist sympathizer?
For the past 20 years, Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin has been married to a man who (until she got into mainstream politics) was a seven-year registered member of the Alaska Independence Party, the goal of which is to secede from "the colonial bureaucracy in Washington," and which has condemned Alaskan statehood as "illegal and in violation of the United Nations charter and international law."

The founder of the party Joe Vogler once said, “My government is my worst enemy. I’m going to fight them with any means at hand.”

While her husband was an AIP member, Palin attended party events and sent a videotaped message to the party's convention just a few years ago urging members to "keep up the good work" and praising them as "inspiring."

Which might lead some people to wonder just who is more closely affiliated with those who espouse dangerously radical activities, Palin or Barack Obama? After all, he was 8 years old when the now college professor Bill Ayers was a radical revolutionary.

1. exactly
The next time she says "palling around", I wish Biden or Obama would say "she is in bed with terrorists". Politics has strange bedfellows you know.

2. How can she listen to Todd's ANTI-AMERICAN rants and NOT believe them?
Why do you hate America, Sarah?

3. I absolutely do not understand why this has not been issue #1.

Sarah Palin's husband is a former member of a political party whose main objective is to secede Alaska from the United States.

She herself has been a vocal supporter of this same AIP, even having recorded a video greeting to them for their convention earlier this year. "Keep up the good work", she said.

These two facts - and these two facts alone - are easily sufficient to disqualify her to be vice-president. Nevermind the rest of her crazy views or her complete brainlessness.

It boggles my mind why this isn't the banner headline across every American newspaper and on every American television news channel.

It's not just a game changer...it's a game winner....for Obama.

5. She already has, it is mandated by the Constitution
Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 03:44 PM by happyslug
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; ....

Third Paragraph of Article VI of US Constitution:

Now the Constitution only requires you to SUPPORT the Constitution, but it is the same for Federal or State officials, including Governors.

and he's not one of them either "he's half native alaskan" he's 1/2 brown people. his ethnicity is more like mine than the "good" republicans that support sarah. somehow i think they forget all of that. oh wait isn't that why they allegedly hate obama because he is an anti american hater who is not like them?
