It appears to many Americans - including me - that Larry, Curley and Moe are rolling the dice with our economic future ...

Ten days ago the Bush administration ... wanted to create a plan and enact legislation in one short weekend ... Murphy's Law doesn't allow most of us to finish simple household tasks in a weekend ...

Congress will have abdicated its oversight responsibilities under our Constitution if they enact a complex, yet thrown together plan without the benefit of the intense discussion and open debate that this important issue demands ...

DeFazio and Kaptur have a "No bailout" plan to address the credit crunch first and were on C-span this morning and on Lou Dobbs last night and are trying to get hearings and get the attention of party leadership. Please e-mail your senators about this if the senate is voting on the bailout toay.
