Have Rove & Bush Lost Their Mojo?
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/03/08/opinion/meyer/main604592.shtml

An unexamined and unspoken assumption behind the vast majority of publicly perpetrated election analysis holds that the Republicans will have strategic and tactical superiority this year simply because Republicans are better at strategy and tactics than Democrats.

The most cynical strain of this thinking says that President Bush’s chief political adviser, Karl Rove, is not the Boy Genius of his nickname, but an Evil Genius, pulling the strings of a puppet president happy to do anything to get re-elected. Together, they can conjure up Osama in October or make the market soar after Labor Day.

The milder manifestation simply observes that this Republican political team, which has won three elections together, has discipline, organization, pragmatism and oodles of money, whereas Democrats have disorganization, factions, wishful thinking and money trouble.

Well, guess what? It's beginning to look as if the vaunted Karl and George team has developed a serious case of tin ear syndrome. The evidence is mounting:

11. yup. Rove is a provincial narrow minded hick
who is severely out of touch with this country.

That actually is a good thing, because I think this crew is incredibly arrogant and not at all self-reflective.

So let them bury themselves in their own ignorance and arrogance

4. Rove is under pressure on the Plame case. I think Bush is part of it, too.
I'm not buyinng ANY of their current cockiness. Leaking the CIA agent's name who was an expert on WMDs while using WMDs as your impetus for war is SO STUPID!!!!!!

8. I think the Plame case could very well be affecting Rove
I e-mailed Josh Marshall about Plamegate the other day, and he told me the WH has been very worried about it for some time, because, and I'm paraphrasing here, the perps/felons are high up in the administration.

5. Rowe Hughes Team

In this election, people have wised up we pray. Rowe is pretty busy trying to stay out of jail on the CIA stuff. Hughes is using her same old stuff and this is a new day!

Democrats were asleep four years ago..we are wide awake now.
The 9 11 tragedy was in 2001 and in 2004 --many clear thinking Americans see that there are no WMD,there was no reason to go to war etc., etc. etc.

Kerry and the other fantastic democratic candidates are Bold in '04

In short, we are Mad As Hell and We Ain't Gonna Take It Any More

7. Their props won't work anymore
Aircraft carrier landing? Nope, the Dems can counter with a real picture of Kerry during the Viet Nam War.

Hero during 9-11 tragedy? There has already been a back lash against those ads.

So what's next? Proponent of education?? GWB reading to those elementary school kids while the WTC were attacked?

We can counter act anything Rove and Hughes come up with next.

12. They Never HAD MOJO!
They lost the last election. I would say they had Mojo if Rove was able to sell his defective product successfully and win the election. He didn't do it successfully with intelligence and cunning so he resorted to what he knows best; ham-fisted thuggery...

13. Hoodwinking
These scum can try to hoodwink the public but the Plame case is the stealth weapon that will blow their game. The Dems need to press on that button persistently. The public doesn't care about Iraq or WMDs or 911 Investigation all that much. The key to bringing these criminals down is indictments of their criminal acts. Does anyone believe that the rank and file of the CIA is going to ignore the lashing that they have been suffering by the Shrub gang?
