2. aye. I remember that -- American right-wingers

were invading the Guardina talkboards calling everyone communist liars.

Was interesting to learn that Yvonne Ridley was the conduit. I remember how she was heavily used as a propaganda tool to show how the Taliban were evil -- and then she came back & claimed Mi6, CIA & Mossad had given the Taliban info to indicate that she was a spy so she'd be killed to score propaganda points. Then her story was dropped by the same media that had once been so keen to see her safe return!
