One way to curb the theft of Diebold's voter crimes.
Vote Absentee Ballot!!!!!!!

Especially in Ohio, Georgia, Nebraska, Maryland, Florida, California, New Jersey, New Mexico to name a few.... Diebold plans to take over... We can put a dent in their plans by Absentee ballots.

<snip>

U.S. Representative Rush Holt introduced HR 2239, The Voter Confidence and Increased Accessibility Act of 2003, that would require electronic voting machines to produce a paper trail so that voters may verify that their screen touches match their actual vote. Election officials would also have a paper trail for recounts.

As Blackwell pressures the Ohio legislature to adopt electronic voting machines without a paper trail, Athan Gibbs wonders, “Why would you buy a voting machine from a company like Diebold which provides a paper trail for every single machine it makes except its voting machines? And then, when you ask it to verify its numbers, it hides behind ‘trade secrets.’”

Maybe the Diebold decision makes sense, if you believe, to paraphrase Henry Kissinger, that democracy is too important to leave up to the votes of the people.

1. Voting absentee is a good idea but.....
.....it's no guarantee that your vote will be counted as cast. Absentee ballots are counted on optical scan equipment and the results are then tabulated using the same GEMS (Global Election Management System) software that tabulates votes from the DRE's (Direct Recording Electronic) touch screen machines. The GEMS system is where the election is most likely to be manipulated! Worse yet, a recount can only be ordered if the results are within a very narrow margin, typically 1-2% between winner and loser. In some states like Georgia the law makes it illegal to look at the ballots in a recount. They are simply run through the same machine a second time assuring the same manipulated result.
We have our work cut out for us if we are to ever get ahead on this issue.

3. Very good! As I said, that's a start......
.....but remember to also contact your local county registrar of voters, state director of elections, and representatives in the house and senate and demand audit able paper ballots for everyone! :hi: :toast:

We can't let them get away with this.

Now let's go get those Bush* bastards!

In CA no reason is req'd to request the absentee ballot. Other states?.. don't know.
These criminal minds, unprincipled, unethical bums who'll fraud
without conscience have to be curbed some knowing there's
paper evidence, but the machines showing paper copy to verify
have been demonstrated. No excuse is credible in avoiding
them..but the $$$ they've already conned out of states.

And OR or WA all votes are mail-in.
