"I can't vote for him. He won't even wear a flag lapel pin". And he won't do whatever they want at the playing of the national anthem. Some people are stupid. I don't know why I think that articles like this might matter since they probably won't read them. Alas.

4. My coworkers care

I live in Georgia - well outside of Atlanta, so this is Red America. I work with my wife, and we're the only Democrats in the office. We're both Obama supporters and try our hardest to sell him to the people we work with, even though most of them idolize George Bush.

A list of reasons our coworkers have given for not supporting Obama:

1. Sounds like Osama
2. No flag lapel pin
3. Refuses to say pledge of allegiance
4. Won't put his hand on his heart during National Anthem
5. Muslim
6. Pastor hates America (kinda weird for a Muslim to attend a Christian church)

All of these reasons are BS - but that's how many people here think. Note the lack of any issues of substance.
