Bill O'Reilly? Actual Ethics?!? Hahahahaha!!!
DANIEL RUTH
Once again, Bill O'Reilly of ``The Spittle Factor'' has proven he is to journalism what Sasquatch is to the Westminster Kennel Club.
The Torquemada of the Fox Star Chamber - cue ``Deutschland uber Alles'' - was in full froth the other night, lashing out against Harry Rapkin because the Sarasota circuit judge had committed two cardinal sins, in the addled opinion of the poor man's Walter Winchell.
First, Rapkin had the audacity to do his job and actually follow the law. Gasp!
Second, the judge had repeatedly declined invitations to appear on ``The Hubris Factor,'' O'Reilly's nightly forum that makes the McCarthy hearings look like the Algonquin Roundtable.
<<<Cut>>>
The facts, however, are very simple to understand - except for folks who are dumber than a sack of O'Reillys.
<<<cut>>>
It is, of course, a journalistic ethical breach to broadcast the location of a judge's home - especially a judge who is in the middle of having his reputation unjustly vilified by the poor man's Hedda Hopper.
``O'Reilly's a piece of scum,'' Rapkin observed.
Eureka! At last! An actual truth has been uttered on ``The Din Factor.''
