A clear demarcation has emerged over how to handle Drudge’s Kerry intern story.  It is all over the Internet and dominating the blogosphere with Wonkette in the lead, in every imaginable way.  The only major media to carry it were those with a right-wing ideological axe to grind, (Fox, Limbaugh, etc,) those with no journalistic standards of which to speak (Fox, Limbaugh, etc) and the unhappy nexus between the two that seems to drive everybody else.  Apparently Imus raised it with Kerry this morning, which I guess was on MSNBC, and Kerry dismissed it, which means it will be all over the rest of the media in a minute.

Are we really surprised how it's worked? Drudge is merely the drudge. The big player is Murdoch. All of his papers have run the story as has Fox. Interesting, isn't it, that the London Sun seems to have more "details" than any of the American media?
