2. That picture was on the front page
of the Cleveland Plain Dealer the other day, which, as horrible as it is, I was happy to see because maybe it'll wake people the hell up. People have been screaming all right, but at the media, and not the Chimp and his disastrous policies.

They're screaming that the picture shouldn't have been published, they had kids in the house who shouldn't have seen it and are now traumatized (what the fuck do they think war really is????????????), it's sensationalistic, etc., etc., blahblahblahblahyaddayaddayadda, the usual bullshit. What morans!!

3. These are the fruits of modern wars...
When we attack foreign shores.

She says "no one on Earth can know how I feel".
They tell her to be happy just the same.
She says she is confused.
Her child is gone,
and she does
not know
who to
blame

5. Maybe that's why the USA is the most militaristic nation on the...
planet. All we are 'allowed' to see is the 'shock and awe', not the blood and guts of those acually on the ground, being blown to bits. We have a whole generation or two (those that were not at least 12 years old during VietNam), who believe its just a video game. American 'children' should be exempt from being 'traumatized, don't you know, but the hell with the kids our bombs and weapons maim!!

I really get crazy about this. I believe it should be mandatory that every 'pro-war' fool in this country view all the pictures, videos, audio tapes or whatever, that can be located, so that maybe it will sink in what the USA has been doing for the last 50 years. We glorify the military and their awesome weapons...we have at least 725 bases occuping other peoples' countries (complete with country clubs, schools, self-contained mini-Americas) while some of the 'natives' are living in dirt proverty...then we ask, "Why do they hate us so"?

What kind of a country are we, when we don't blink an eye at $407 billion a year for the military? That is more than the combined military expenditures of 3/4 of the world.
