that attaches to any television that will block out any speach or image that you do not wish to hear or see.
It is called 'the channel selector'.
For more extreme circumstances, the 'off switch' is also available.
For truely extreme circumstances, 'pulling the plug', 'tripping the circuit breaker', and 'pulling the fuses' are also possiblities.
The most extreme method, 'taking an axe to the dft' should only be done with the television off and cooled down to avoid self electricution.

A spokeswoman for Virginia's Department of Education, Julie Grimes, told us she could find no requirement that fourth-graders must draw the flag, "but it's at the discretion of individual teachers to select additional things they would like to discuss, teach or use as assignments."
