(Before I post a video clip and brief editorial from Cenk, I should point out that Michael Savage supposedly has over EIGHT MILLION listeners. Even if that number is cut in half it's still astounding, and he is apparently the 3rd most listened radio talk show host in America)

Michael Savage just called retired Brig. Gen. Keith Kerr, who asked a question during the Republican CNN/You Tube debate, a "gay, phony general."
You know who is a gay phony? Michael Savage.

I just read an old article in Salon about Michael Weiner (his real name) and it's one of the saddest things you'll ever read.

Mocked by his dad, rejected by his liberal friends, scorned by every university he applied to (for teaching positions) and racked by homosexual desires, Savage turned himself into this racist, xenophobic and homophobic monstrosity...

that he didn't pass the psych eval? I can't recall what Mr. Batguano's or however he today styles himself did not serve in uniform. There, that didn't cross the line to libel, now did it? I used perhaps and don't recall.

10. I remember reading that Salon article

a while back. The things he's quoted as saying in there about his past as an herbalist-beatnik in Marin County and subsequent rejection of his liberal lifestyle are bizarre, disjointed, make no sense. I'm not pretending to be a psychologist but something about them reeks of chemical imbalance. Makes me feel sorry for him more than anything... if you overlook for a moment the type of fascist sludge that he spews. Unlike most neocon propellerheads who clearly grew up to be what they are on a hearty diet of homespun propaganada, this is something weirder, darker, a political Frankenstein monster mutated by god-knows-what toxic train-wreck of brain chemistry, stumbling over the AM radio landscape and mauling whatever he encounters.

I wish that our society had some more enlightened way of dealing with his kind, but odds are he will eventually fall to a mob with torches and rakes.
