Reid and Pelosi: Shouldn't We Impeach for Illegal War, Trashing the Constitution and Treason in that Chronological Order?
by Bill Hare | Nov 26 2007

Okay, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, you have spent all this time demeaning the idea of impeaching George W. Bush and Dick Cheney as a form of absurd distraction.

Please emerge from your Washington Beltway bubbles and see what is really happening out there in the real world.

People are getting madder all the time. They wonder if any Democratic opposition exists in the wake of the hijacking of the federal government by power mad neoconservatives eager to make the United States a one party nation presided over by dictatorial bureaucrats ruling a supine and docile citizenry from Orwell’s vision of 1984.

Should you now consider the relevance of impeachment in view of Scott McClellan’s latest comments and what they, along with other available evidence, portend for the future of this nation?

Think of what has been ignored thus far. The team of Cheney and Bush has been permitted to attack another nation in direct violation of international law America propounded at the Nuremberg Trials.

So what do we do now, Senator Reid and Speaker Pelosi?

Do we let treason pass as well or do we finally take action as should have been done long ago against the Cheney-Bush neoconservative reign of terror that has disrupted America while the Constitution was replaced with the “I am the state” dictate delivered by Napoleon Bonaparte?

3. Absolutely
The Democratic Party is indeed complicit. The Constitution has been shredded on their watch, and people have died while they stood by. It is disgraceful.

4. L'etat c'est moi.
"L'etat c'est moi. (I am the State)" was Louis XIV, not Napolean. But, I agree with the sentiments you've expressed.
