Bush leads us down a morally muddy road (Valdez / Arizona Republic)

The Republican presidential wannabes see our biggest threats as terrorism, Hillary Clinton, gay marriage, Hillary Clinton, illegal immigrants, Hillary Clinton, abortion, Hillary Clinton, liberals and big government run by Hillary Clinton.

Big Brother government run by George Bush doesn't seem to bother them ...

Bush shows contempt for those checks and balances by creating his own system for those he calls enemies. It's a mystery why more conservatives don't bristle. They still parrot their guru Ronald Reagan's distrust of federal government.

So why don't they distrust a president who shows a tendency to circumvent the courts and the Constitution? ...

Mud generally washes off. I don't think, at best, our moral standing can be regained within a generation.

and is presently at least halfway to Hell. He went over the cliff, and is trying to drag everyone else with him.
