War College Issues Scathing Critique of Terror War
A scathing new report published by the Army War College broadly criticizes the Bush administration's handling of the war on terrorism, accusing it of taking a detour into an "unnecessary" war in Iraq and pursuing an "unrealistic" quest against terrorism that may lead to U.S. wars with states that pose no serious threat.

1. thanks for posting this
I was just about to.

Record's core criticism is that the administration is biting off more than it can chew. He likens the scale of U.S. ambitions in the war on terrorism to Adolf Hitler's overreach in World War II. "A cardinal rule of strategy is to keep your enemies to a manageable number," he writes. "The Germans were defeated in two world wars . . . because their strategic ends outran their available means."

american people wake up? We have the Carnegie Report, the Army War College, the recent revelations from Paul O'Neill. WHAT IN THE F*@# is wrong with people? There is literally a mountain of evidence that is undeniable, yet the press remains more concerned about how many minorities Dean had in his cabinet, if Michael Jackson was mistreated, and comparing the democratic debates to childhood grades.

We are outsourcing jobs, the economy is in the tank, we have a huge deficit, we lied to go to war, our public education is a joke, Wall Street is getting rich while Main Street loses health insurance and umemployment benefits. After all this we keep hearing ad naseum, "It is going to be a close election. Who can beat *" Again, what in the F*@# is wrong with people? My 7 year old son should be able to beat this guy. I think he knows about compassion and the economy and right and wrong.
