1. Watch out - the pro beef people are kind of nuts

I wrote an article on my site about avoiding beef and linked to some articles about Mad Cow, and I'm getting lots of email from weirdos telling me to shut up about it. Plus one person thanking me for having the 'courage' to speak up about beef. What, is the beef industry in this country some kind of closet mafia?
