Keep some perspective with casualty reports

Each death of an American military person in Iraq is tragic. Like many things, however, these casualty reports must be kept in perspective. Consider these figures:

Number of people murdered in Milwaukee in 2003: 106.

Number of service people from the city of Milwaukee killed in Iraq in 2003: 0.

So which place is more dangerous, Iraq or Milwaukee?

Nobody from the city of Milwaukee was killed on the surface of the sun in 2003, either...

Anyone know how to find out how many people, currently serving in Iraq, list their permanent residence as City of Milwaukee? (Milwaukee has just shy of 600,000 residents.)
