Dumb news of the week bulletin: Mitt Romney suggests that Jeb Bush might be a preferred running mate. Mitt! Buck! America doesn't want another Bush. Why not just anoint them the Royal Family and make the Treasury their realm? Good gosh.

Meanwhile, last week, the administration's "Department of Freedom and Information Reduction" blasted House Leader Nancy Pelosi over her upcoming visit to Middle East, which includes a sit-down chat with Syrian President-For-Life Bashar al-Assad.

The last time a high-ranking American official journeyed the Road to Damascus was back in 1994, when President Clinton stopped by to say hi to Bashar's dad, Hafez al-Assad. The last guy before Clinton was St. Paul the Apostle.
