I'm reporting on what I heard this morning on "On the Media" on NPR.

There is a website: http://www.opencongress.org/

that allows us to know what the legislators are doing, without having to follow them around all day!

This site posts the bills, tracks the amendments, follows the process, lists the votes, and correlates each legislator's record.

The operators of this site are trying to get the legislators to post their daily schedules, so you can see who they meet and talk to!

Imagine being able to know what's happening without spin--from anywhere in the world.

The operators are also trying to get Congress to start doing this (20th Century stuff) themselves.


INFORMATION IS POWER! REPORTING INFORMATION IS PUBLIC OVERSIGHT! WE are the 4th Estate!
