Republican presidential hopefuls are looking back at the Gipper, in all his anti-woman glory.
In the midst of the media obsession with which Democratic presidential candidate has the most “star power,” Republican hopefuls at last week’s Conservative Political Action Conference trotted out a star of their own—Ronald Reagan. Both Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney, currently distrusted by the party conservative faithful who will decide the nomination, invoked the Great Communicator. While this may be welcome news for some, female voters ought to be alarmed.

The 40th president was indeed a clear-eyed visionary: He envisioned a world where women would never be granted equality in the U.S. constitution, abortion was illegal and equal employment laws were a thing of the past.

2. Presidential Hopefuls
Ever notice that this country will not elect someone who is ugly? ... Remember Hubert Humphrey...and John Kerry...They talked about their faces, not their intellect! This country will not elect them! I told Hillary she needs a new hairdo...the one she has makes her look very hard, but at least she doesn't need a face lift. Obama will never make it - they'll shoot him first! (Too bad as he might be able to help us.) John Kerry should get a face lift...and Al Gore needs to lose some weight...then they might qualify in the simple minds of most Americans : )

Reagan could remember lines...that's the best thing he was able to do, and was known to people who went to the movies. Arnie, in CA, is more Democrat than Republican and he's good looking too : )

3. This country elected Richard Nixon and he was not exactly...
good looking. As far as Arnie, he is one ugly man, in my opinion he looks like a Neanderthal man.
