Iraq refugees facing a humanitarian disaster - UNHCR
The plight of four million Iraqis forced to flee their homes by escalating violence has become a "humanitarian disaster", the head of the United Nations refugee agency said on Wednesday.

Antonio Guterres, the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), said the international community had to do much more to to help ease the plight of Iraqis, either displaced or fleeing the country, beyond modest efforts so far.

"When you have almost four million people displaced inside the country or in countries around... we are facing a humanitarian disaster," he told Reuters in an interview in Amman, the Jordanian capital.

Out of Iraq's population of 26 million, some 1.8 million Iraqis are uprooted within its borders, including an estimated 640,000 in the past year, according to latest UNHCR figures.

1. Ingrates....
look at the FREEDOM the United States has given them! There's no way they could have moved about like that during the Saddam era. Freedom is on the march: literally. Marching from their homeland to neighboring countries to escape the U.S. demolition of their homeland. Ain't freedom grand? :loveya:

2. Displaced people in unstable political climate.
No access to proper medical care so an excess of poor health.

Know what that is? The profile of a terrorist. The New York Times did that for an article a decade or so ago.

Basically, George has turned Iraq into a terrorist factory.
