As recently reported in The New York Times, Republicans are in a virtual circular firing squad, already assigning blame for their expected disastrous showing in the midterms.
Kinda’ makes you reconsider your stance in favor of gun control.
But just how do these factions break down? True, they all share the common goal of ruining this country, but differ in their means to accomplish this end. As David Frum, a former Bush speechwriter, put it: “There’s a battle between people who say ‘your tax cuts wrecked our war,’ and people who say ‘your war wrecked our tax cuts’.”
Since it’s hard to tell the betrayers without a program, here’s your handy guide to sorting out the riff from the raff, and the chaff from the chaff:
