Pelosi calls on ethics to produce interim report

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday called for the House ethics committee to issue a preliminary report next week on its investigation into what Congressional officials knew of former Rep. Mark Foley’s (R-Fla.) improper interactions with former House pages.

The Democratic leader may have balked at Freeh having an investigative role in the scandal because many Democrats view him as a Republican ally.

Freeh’s 2005 book, "My FBI: Bringing Down the Mafia, Investigating Bill Clinton, and Fighting the War on Terror," was severely critical of Clinton.

Former Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal once called Freeh "bar-none Clinton’s worst appointment."......

1. I doubt that interim report will happen. After denial comes stall.

And stalling will keep that part of the story out of the news.

Democrats just want the American people to know the truth about us before the election. Its nothing but politics and that witch from San Francisco just wants to smear us with the truth.
