Diane West writes an anti-rock and roll column today at Townhall.com. Once again showing how ahead of the loop the Conservative movement is. They really are reaching out to the younger people. Ms. West suggests that rock and roll has created a culture of "<i>free love, hallucinogenic drugs and a reflexive anti-Americanism to all us masses.</i>" Yep.
The catalyst of the article is Hungarian Ambassador Andras Simonyi's visit to the Rock and Roll Music at Cleveland. She chortles over the irony of John Lennon helping the Gipper defeat communism. Meh. I suspect the truth is that John Lennon would be happy to see an end to the cold war no matter who it helped politically.
