Breaking. FBI widens manhunt for "some people say."

Under direction of Administration officials, the FBI and other federal agencies have stepped up their efforts to find and bring to justice, "some people", on national security grounds.

In recent speeches, President Bush has made reference to "there are those that may say" terrorist sympathizers, as well as their "some people say" followers here in this country.

Sources close to the Administration say these are clear, but closely guarded, allusions to the "some people" who remain opposed to freedom in spite of the good news from the Middle East. "Some people say" groups are also known to oppose his initiatives here at home.

Bush, signaling a new tack in his war on terror and a determination to promote his domestic agenda, took the unusual step of singling out "those that may say" and "some people" as subjects of federal scrutiny.
