Revolt against imperialism
by George Galloway, Respect MP for Bethnal Green & Bow

It almost defies belief that George Bush and Tony Blair could be contemplating a new war while the fires they have already started in Iraq and Afghanistan continue to rage.

But the journals, websites and pundits of the neo-conservative right in the US are discussing exactly that – a military strike on Iran.

They are piling up the same fanciful propaganda that we heard on the eve of the invasion of Iraq – non-existent weapons of mass destruction, the interests of the so called international community, the alleged threat from another Middle Eastern country.

And from most media commentators comes a staggering lightmindedness. We are told an attack will not take place. But John Bolton, the US ambassador to the United Nations, has indicated candidly to British MPs how far plans have been developed.

1. The strike will certainly take place...
...and we're going to turn the entire Middle East into bedlam and chaos. I'm beginning to think that's the Neocon agenda.

2. Not the entire middle east.

Just the nations that arent already run by stable puppet/compliant regimes.

And yes, while plan A is to get stable puppett/compliant regimes in these countries, plan B is to destroy the country ensuring that any independent regime is too weak to cause us problems.

5. There is NO "US" anymore.
What many do not understand is that we have
"crossed the rubicon" so to speak.
The "US, as you refer to it, no longer exists.
The new reality is one of multi national powers
which manipulate the entire planet by deploying
the "US" military power to assure their interests in
matters of hegemonic control over every living soul.
Point being, "they" don't care which ass lands where,
as long as they amass more power.
This is why the brain dead Americans who paste
little yellow ribbons on their gas hogs (oh the irony)
and spout "support 'our?' troops make me insane.
There is NO America as we think of it anymore.
Only power mad corporatists exploiting our delusions
of an "America" they have raped and pillaged beyond all recognition.
We are so screwed.
