An important thought for all
http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0305-29.htm also see
http://www.commondreams.org/views06/0210-36.htm

These two articles rather succinctly state a thought I have had for a while.
Could it be that the wide spread of the internet is a control device foisted upon us by the DOD. After all I ALWAYS feel better after reading like minded thoughts of others, especially if I type up a good vent.

3. WTF is this in second article?:
"ex-candidate Kerry, whom I met in Washington a few weeks after his defeat, haggard, ghostly, faintly whispering in my ear: 'If you hear anything about those 50,000 votes in Ohio, let me know'";

4. As a communication device
and a networking tool, the internet is invaluable. And in case no one noticed, we have had massive protests--which were more or less ignored by the CM. The internet is serving to get information passed around that would have vanished completely.

Suffice to say I don't particularly agree with either of these articles.

5. It was a critical part...
...of organizing the "get out the vote" movement, and in so far as that goes, it worked. Kerry won by a landslide. Diebold, ES&S, Triad and others simply refused to report acknowledge the victory.

6. The first article is especially correct, the internet educates but........
.....the internet DOES NOT turn thousands of people into the streets day after day where representatives and the world is forced to notice them.:bounce: Anyone who doesn't see the wisdom behind the article is obviously looking for a reason to stay put.:shrug:
