Some Christians have their hymnals in a heap over President Bush using the greeting "holiday season" on his Christmas card instead of the word "Christmas."
They're chapped because they see leaving the name Christmas off W.'s 1.4 million greeting cards as an attempt to jerk Jesus out of the holidays.
Why are these people worked up? Do you think Jesus would lose any sleep if his name weren't attached to Christmas?
Heck, the way Christmas has turned into an annual profit and loss statement, Jesus probably would breathe a sigh of relief. Why would Jesus want to have anything to do with Christmas? Do you suppose if Jesus came back he'd wait by his mailbox for his Harry & David gift basket catalog to show up?
