6. Jesus is the best excuse that ignorant homicidal freaks have ever had.
Everything in the name of Jesus. Because God knows, Jesus came to earth to teach us how to kill one another.

:sarcasm:

8. Oh @%$&?#!
That is so messed up. Talk about missing the point.

"They shall beat their swords into plowshares," anyone?

How about "Love your enemies"? "My peace I give you"? "Love your neighbor as yourself"? "And when a man strike you, you shall turn the other cheek"? Any of this ring a bell?

Sigh...

10. I don't get something
in the article when the guy laughed and said that about the beer, and he said "Lord give me these men" did he APPROVE of that? Or did he want to work with them and impart some sensitivity in them?

Also, "raghead" is yours, right? I didn't see it in the article.

These folks are pretty .. well, spooky, I guess.

13. Yes, "raghead" is mine
I was reading between the lines and it was pretty apparent that they were not talking about converting Republicans.

12. If I hadn't seen this with my own eyes ...
... I wouldn't have believed it. A man in full military regalia, holding an automatic weapon, with a caption about 'imparting faith'.

What could be more 'Christ-like' than that?

19. No where in this article (or this website) did it use the phrase...
"Kill Raghead for Jesus". I know many military personnel and the thinking behind your title can not be connected with any of them. The people I know are young, dedicated and quite frankly fearful deep down (although they would never admit and should never have to). I have the utmost respect for them, and don't attach any Administration policy on them because they have behaved professionally and honorably. Due to the fact that they are being thrown into a situation that none of us could ever imagine, I empathise with their drawing towards their faith. Can it be abused? No doubt. Have I seen it in the many personnel that I have known over a 18 year period? No.

20. They worship the "diety" of Jesus
Yeah, and if you read their "Statement of Faith" you'll discover that, "We believe in the diety and humanity of Christ".

Spelling errors aside, these people both amaze and scare the shit out of me. I know the United States (still) allows all views, opinions, religions, etc. but these people are really out there in Wonga Land. I think I'm going to start praying to Christ to protect me from his Followers.
