3. Scheer:
"I've been a punching bag for Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh for years and I think the paper finally collapsed".

4. I cancelled in 2000 when they paired
a hit piece on Hillary with a fawning portrait of Pickles. What they are doing now is suicidal - the only major daily in a Democratic city - and they fire their one true progressive columnist. They already bury stories which reflect poorly on the chimp in the back of the front section. This will just about complete their slide into irrelevance.

5. Perhaps inevitable when LAT bought by the conservative Chicago Tribune.
I hope they hear from their readers about this. I look forward to reading Scheer on Huffington Post, and am pleased his voice will not be silenced.
