The President says that he trusted bad intelligence...
Assuming that is so, we now know that the bad intelligence existed at the same time as the proof that the intelligence was bad.

The real big question is... did the President use the intelligence knowing it was bad? If he did, it was a sin against the world.

But, almost as bad is... did the President do everything within his power to find the truth before declaring war?

Many seem to look at this like he soiled an intern's dress.

The President declared war on false information!

Never mind the fact that he waged the first pre-emptive war in American history. This is an act no other American President would consider. George W. Bush did not do everything in his power to prevent war. George W. Bush drove our country to war! Shame on him and shame on us for letting him! Shame on the press for supporting him and not doing their jobs. This war is a sin and it is a shame all Americans should fight to right.

This is not something a great President does. It's criminal. At the very least, it proves that this man should not lead our country.

Do you, as an American citizen, think our sons and daughters lives are worth so little? Maybe you could write a letter or send an email. If enough people speak out, our sons and daughters will stop dying for a lie.

We all know that this war is about oil, general profiteering and an old grudge. Our sons and daughters are worth more than that.

Make this Veterans Day count and start writing letters to save lives.

2. He went to war in March when he was still getting new information
with everything pointing towards no WMD. If anything, everything was im place to avoid war. In fact, Tom Friedman had a column hopeing that Bush was crazy like a fox - and that now that his threat of force led Saddam to agree to very invasive inspections war could be avoided and the UN resolution that Iraq disarm from 1991 finally be confirmed. This was the real victory that Buah turned down when he invaded in Iraq.

The Democrats need to concentrate on March 2003 when Bush chose to invade, not Oct 2002. It's more honest, unites most of the party and it puts the blame where it belongs.

3. Talking out both sides of his face.
Let me get this straight. He "trusted bad intlligence". Yet he still says it was the right thing to do to get rid of Saddam? Playing both sides of the fence, hoping no one figures him out. Sorry assholio, you're busted.

5. and
One of the main guys who gave him this "bad" intelligence is in Washington acting like a King, getting audiences with top White House personnel.

If he was truly duped, why is everybody meeting with the main duper?

Being duped and meeting with the main duper doesn't make a whole lot of sense now does it.

6. Not unless you owe him.
He has so much on the administration that he can ask a lot more than he is.

Be thankful he is only after running Iraq. Notice that Cheney filled Libby's position just before Chalabi's visit.

7. Commander. In.Chief.
Where does that buck stop again?? I forgot. You would think that W would have a better idea of the trustworthiness of the CIA, seeing as his DAD was the head of it for a while. I'm just saying, my dad worked for the railroad. And though I have no personal interest in trains, I sure know a lot about them. And railroad unions. And how the tonnage of the freight is going to affect what speeds are safe at what grades. And I have no good reason to want or need to know those things. Imagine if it was actually important that I did!!

8. What would you do if an airline executive attacked your Dad?
GW has a Grudge.

We're paying dearly for it.

And you are right. Bush needs to be held responsible for his mistakes even if he will not admit them.

14. The bad intelligence argument is dead..
..since it has been proved beyond doubt that the top Bush officials were spending a lot of time and energy discussing Joe Wilson and his wife. Why else were they talking about the Wilsons to the press, if not to discredit good intelligence. They created the bad intelligence.

If anyone still believes the bad intelligence/innocent victim argument, they deserve to watch Fox 24 hours a day for a week as punishment.
