Senator Urges Bush to 'Come Clean' on Leak

Sat Nov 5, 8:27 PM ET

WASHINGTON -
President Bush should "come clean" about any White House officials involved in the leak of the name of undercover
CIA operative Valerie Plame and "honor his pledge to fire all those involved," Sen. Barbara Mikulski (news, bio, voting record) of Maryland said Saturday in the Democrats' weekly radio address.

"It's been one week since the vice president's chief of staff was indicted, and there are still very serious questions about how his White House misused and manufactured intelligence to sell and defend the war in Iraq," Mikulski said.

.......

"I can't remember a situation like this since the Watergate scandal brought down the Nixon administration," she said.

3. I know I'm in the minority but
I really don't think bush knew because I don't think they clue him in on anything. He doesn't WANT to know anything. The guy is a moron who cannot speak in complete sentences - why would they let him in on anything?

4. Dems in the House and Senate just need to
keep up the questions and the pressure. Any news on steps taken since the 'stunt' on getting the investigation going? If they worked for me, I would have expected at least an outline of a plan by Friday on next steps.

Anyone know what's up with that?
