Draft Brokaw?
This will come as a shock to many of those keeping media whore score, but they ain't talkin' repub party here. From The Fix in today's Salon:

"Tom Brokaw for president in 2004? The anchorman insists he’s not interested, but media bigwigs Barry Diller and Howard Stringer and writers Nora Ephron and Kurt Andersen aren’t taking no for an answer. Diller says, "He simply is the greatest draft choice you could ever possibly imagine. He’s such a natural on so many levels." Ephron predicts that, should Brokaw change his mind, "$20 million would come pouring in in about a week." And Andersen opines, "I feel as though he’d have an excellent chance of being elected, if people were given the chance to vote for him." (N.Y. Observer)"

1. Wasn't he instrumental...
In inviting Rush to be a guest on NBC's election night coverage last fall? Dare say I wouldn't want to draft a guy for the DEMOCRATIC nomination who pulled THAT ugly move!

B-)

2. Does that mean Katie Curic can grow up to be president too???????
Ooooooo, too bad she had that relationship with that married man!

This makes me puke. From Bush, who said he was a media creation...to Brokaw......who is the media. jesus.

3. Katie's husband died years ago - and she has married male friends
but what "relationship" are you refering to?

And Katie would not be have as bad as Bush - and indeed I believe she's quick enough on her feet and makes excellent decisions - so why not President?

4. Brokaw is a RW media whore
I'd rather put up an 87 year old Walter Chronkite if you are going after newscasters.
