No More Cronyism (Michelle Malkin!)
By Michelle Malkin · September 20, 2005 06:45 AM
**updated**

Another disastrous crony appointment in the making

This is Julie Myers, President Bush's nominee to head the the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security.

Her nomination is a joke. A bad joke: (via WaPo)
...
Oh, give me a ^*&%$# break and a half! This nomination is a monumental political and policy blunder in the wake of the Michael Brown/FEMA fiasco. And I can tell you that contrary to the Miss Mary Sunshine White House spokeswoman's comments, rank-and-file DHS employees and immigration enforcement officials are absolutely livid about Myers' nomination.
...
On a related note, the liberal website Raw Story has published an interesting immigration memo from Rep. Lamar Smith to Karl Rove that was inadvertently sent to a Democratic congressman. Some conservatives have questioned the authenticity of the document. Well, I just called Rep. Smith's office and confirmed that it is real and unaltered. Rep. Smith's staffer explained the gaffe by saying that "something went on with the fax machine."

Sigh.

The dumb twit is just NOW figuring it out???? That's like giving a dog credit for knowing it is hungry and heading to the food bowl.

She's a total jerk.

20. And You'd Be right NOT to do so...
Doesn't anybody SEE what Malignant Malkin's doin'???
There ain't no contrition in this lost, decayed soul!
She's so filled with putrid puss of racism (must truly hate her ethnicity, huh? Sorry cow) that she's pissed off * didn't appoint a trigger-happy guy to blow all undocumented immigrants to smithereens at first sight!
THAT'S why she's frothing at the mouth about the DHS's new but equally inept head!
NOT because she's seeing any light!
PFF!
I bet if she ever came close to, she'd put on the blackest shades to protect those (surprisingly unbeknownst to the confused woman herself) slanted eyes of hers that match the color of that lump of coal in her chest!
Yeah, she's not the only one who can spew angrily...

10. Actually, she's finally figuring out he's a racist asshole and
that she's not an extremely wealthy white person.

Kind of like the conservative poor who are finally figuring out that their Jesus Lovin' President and their party doesn't give a rat's ass about them.

21. Face it! It's BECAUSE Malkin's Not Wealthy and White...
...that she's possessed with an incredible self-hatred and self-loathing borne out of insane, barbaric "wish I be white" envy.

If anything, we should pity the confused, mentally unstable creature.

We should, but I, personally, have got little patience with bigots of all colors so I'll leave that noble act to others...

18. Yes, every now and then she comes back "to center" BUT
only when it can be a SLAM DUNK for her. I remember her scathing commentary about Rep. "Wild Bill" Janklow (SD). Gee, how tough a call was that considering blatant vehicular manslaughter of a Vietnam Veteran Motor Cyclist? Yes, one doesn't need much of a spine to side and pile-on with the *bloody obvious.* That way, you are not irritating your LARGE corporate backers.

Malkin is a media whore of the worst order, in that, she's one of the first RATS to jump ship when the going gets tough. All that's truly important is that the HUGE Corporate Monsters continue to consolidate and "make the calls."

Let's all hope that the "puppet" the Corporations coronate as our President in 2008 has more intelligence and good character than Dubya?

Malkin serves her large media "corporate masters" well.

:puke:

6. It's not just cronyism--
Julie Myers just married another DHS-er. It's not just cronyism, it's also nepotism. As I recall, he's chief of staff there. What are the possibilities they will carpool?

28. But wouldn't you think they'd start caring MORE,
now that Bush's numbers are plummeting? Isn't Karl Rove's speciality creating a good "image" for the president? It just seems like they're so isolated & self-deluded that they no longer have any sense of how the public feels.

Too late *itch, you already sold your soul to satan and the Old USA is already destroyed, in part thanks to you.

Too late to have second thoughts now, *itch, in for a penny, in for a pound.

Might as well voltunteeer for Operation VIPs so you can wear an armband and arrest people you don't like.

13. Oh, there is time for redemption and repent for Michelle
Now that racism, cronyism, and nepotism is in vogue, Michelle is now getting a taste of her conservative medicine. Maybe she won't be a Democrat, but she might have to reconsider her philosophy. And we'll take in a redeemed sinner, right?

25. We never win when we align ourselves with hateful racist bigots
...and that is what Miss "Locking Up the Japanese was totally justified" is.

She's gonna have to do the Stations of the Democratic Party on her hands and knees through cut glass before she gets any support from me--full renouncement, mea culpas, detailed confessions, and good works, too.

Hey, Ariana did the about face, as did David Brock. It can happen. But that horrid person has many rivers to cross, and many miles to go, before she redeems herself, IMO.

It's just Malkin going a little "back to center" which she is INfamous for every six months or so. Yep, the Right Wingers send little ole' Michelle to send up a trial balloon to "test the gullible waters."

BTW it's IMO the CNN "Sh*t-Stain Room" not the "Situation Room."

29. If Democrats took over in '08 . . .
. . . I'm pretty sure this media bottom feeder would immediately switch alliances, have some mighty public mea culpa moment, and start bashing Republicans along with the rest of us. I think her agenda is one thing and one thing only - publicity, for herself - and association with the winning team.

She's a shallow whore, nothing more.
