K Halpern: Bush Critics Are The Lowest Form Of Life
Am I sensing desperation on the old RW?

COMMENTARY: Bush critics are lowest form of life

By KEVIN HALPERN

The lowest form of human life are already crawling out of the woodwork. Are they the people looting and pillaging in New Orleans? No, they are the people who are blaming President Bush for Hurricane Katrina and its devastation.

Those people include politicians, political wanna-bees, political commentators and pundits and everyday Americans like Cindy Sheehan, who has determined that all of the world's ills can be laid directly at the feet of one George W. Bush.

1. No, we don't blame Bush for Katrina
We blame him for NOT repsonding to the emergency sooner. We blame him for TAKING money away from flood control/levee improvement. We blame him for taking the Guard away and putting them in an illegal war thousands of miles away from where they are needed. I could go on, but I think most folks know this MalAdministration is incompetant now.

5. kick--sort of.........
*is incapable of letting go of his narcissitic needs--can't lose too much vacation! :sarcasm: So on his time frame he was probably doing as well as possible---BUT IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH ANYMORE! HE HAS EVERYTHING AT HIS COMMAND--WHY IS HIS FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC "INTELL" SO LACKING? I was hoping that his close relationship with the Heavenly Father could have been of more use---esp. in light of this disaster! OR, maybe he couldn't reveal the tragedy we were about to face beause of national security reasons.

2. I hate to tell this simpleton that everyone is criticizing bush for not..
responding sooner to the situation in New Orleans. I guess we liberals (being the lowest form of human life) are blamed for everything now that it is too late to blame Bill Clinton. He is right about one thing, at this moment in time much of the world's ills CAN be 'laid directly at the feet of one George W. Bush'.

7. Day 5: where is the water?
fucking crybaby. This "everyday American" would happily slap your silly face Halpern.

No one blames that worthless asshole for the hurricane, but I blame him for every death after it. I hope he roasts in hell and you can be his towel boy.

8. Eh. I wrote him:
I live in lower Manhattan and I breathed the dust of the dead after 9/11 and it was NOTHING TO THIS. A pinprick to what's happened in New Orleans.

On 9/11, Bush ran away and hid. Protecting his own ass first. Not even asking what had happened to us when he was informed.

Clinton made it back from Australia faster than Bush made it to Ground Zero from Florida.

And NOW? While Americans were dying--and I knew last Saturday what was about to happen because I take the trouble to find out things--Bush was eating cake, raising money, strumming a guitar...and then he took another day to play golf.

You really want to justify that? You really want to stand with that heartless monster? Is that who you are?

Call me a lowlife. The mayor of my city was a Republican and he was THERE on 9/11. My Republican governor was THERE. Bush? Not so much.

Now he's golfed while New Orleans drowned.

Bush's short-sighted policies have destroyed an historic American city. He cut levee repair and wetland restoration to fund his taxcuts for billionaires. And I am a lowlife for saying so?

You might want to check the disaster policies for YOUR town.

9. Didn't he just condem 60% of the US population?
There's a lot of Bush Critics out here.

Yes, they are desparate. I read another RW whiner today railing against
those who "blame Bush for Katrina". She sited numerous people who
had criticized Bush for his contribution to the hurricane disaster, but
didn't even attempt to refute their points with facts. She just name-called
and sneered.

I guess those are the only weapons left to defend the boy king with.

10. I hate to sound crass and heartless...........but.......
if we all come to the AID of GEORGIE boy; then he is let off the hook and so is every big mouth wanting to help.

We can help best by doing NOTHING and letting GEORGE stew in his own juices.
