A Direct and Personal Challenge to EVERYONE in the Corporate Media

This nation has no national news media and I will prove it to anyone who dares take me up on my challenge

Incompetent journalists, criminally negligent journalists or liars who are complicit in the mass deception of the American people; there are no other ways whatsoever to describe the men and women who comprise the corporate news institutions of the United States. From the hired face you see every day on the boob tube to the journalism intern every person currently employed in the corporate media today has some soul searching to do.

Before critics, most of whom will most likely be supporters of George W. Bush, slam me with accusations of bias or use their best method of defending their position…name calling…I will issue my personal challenge now.

MY PERSONAL CHALLENGE: I offer to publicly debate, deconstruct and expose for who they are, any member of the corporate news media and their adjuncts on the talk radio circuit. I offer to sit by the side of any news caster as they pretend to be journalists and I will point out every single method of deception as they speak. I offer to view any news cast and publicly deconstruct it for what it is, distractions, distortions and commercials for their corporate shareholders. This challenge is extended to everyone in the mainstream corporate media, from the extreme right to the accused left. This nation has no national news media and I will prove it to anyone who dares take me up on my challenge

Media payola. Concentration of media, some with defense interests (NBC, GE etc), most wanting the 'scoop' and afraid the intell agencies will lock them out if they don't play. Is it worth it now that it's common knowledge what media-whores they are ?

5. The owners are complicit, IMO.

But also IMO, the majority of the rank-and-file are just self-interest driven like most of the world.

They know what they're doing is wrong and that it isn't even kissing cousins with real journalism, but they also realize real journalism rarely comes with a real paycheck and real benefits anymore.

The ones who think that what they're doing is real journalism, of course, are incompetent capped-teeth jackasses.

since all their failings have lined up like three monkey statues on a shelf, self-affirmed in their power, affirmed by equal flattering and disciplining frauds. The old games of trends, cultural priesthood ritualizing the news, not delving, the corruption of a dangerously insufficient medium, TV, the scuzzy sliming of radio, the reversal of trust busting, the fairness of giving the devil time to strut his stuff, the leeching off the big money from long past, accidental 'glory" days.

Even in the old timers one can sense that arrogance that excitement in doing an insufficient but glamorous media job, that lack of self critique and focus on "the job" in relation to world and country. The smugness of the old and entrenched betrayed by the worst black hole in their soppy wasteland of hopelessness and celebrated despair. The sinking of newspapers into the worst of electronic failings.

And as with supposedly decent committed human beings in ALL positions of trust and political power, utterly self-absorbed and naive in their manipulation by pathetic enemies of their trust.

Yes, all three and more as they sink in the fractured looking glass admiring themselves in the fragments that cut the innocent to pieces on the way down, each splinter a cruel lie to possess the unwary heart.
