Hothead nominee is wrong choice for UN post

Vice President Dick Cheney admits Undersecretary of State John Bolton is aggressive and abrasive. He just seems to think that's exactly what we need in the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. The vice president is wrong.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has postponed the vote on Bolton's nomination until May 12, to consider allegations about him, including that he chased a woman through a Moscow hotel, threw things at her and left threatening notes under her door. The Bush administration ought to cut its losses and find a new nominee. If Bush sticks with Bolton, the committee should vote him down.
