Why we'll never see the second round of Abu Ghraib photos
"NBC News reported that they show "American soldiers beating one prisoner almost to death, apparently raping a female prisoner, acting inappropriately with a dead body, and taping Iraqi guards raping young boys." Everyone who saw the photographs and videos seemed to shudder openly when contemplating what the reaction would be when they eventually were made public.

But they never were."

1. Censorship works
There is almost a complete blackout on Iraq events. The only thing that gets through is the government spin.

The Nick Berg "beheading" was a psychological warfare effort against the American people. It was obviously timed to counteract Abu Ghraid disclosures. It is not a coincidence that Berg's execution appears to have taken place at Abu Ghraid.

2. Yeah, the Berg execution
is highly suspicious, isn't it? The man himself also appears to have had some peculiar connections, he probably wasn't in Iraq just to look for work. The Margaret Hassan execution too I find highly suspicious (which coincided with the Falluja offensive as it happened - "see what we're fighting against"). She was a pain in the ass of the occupation forces with her criticism, her abduction was universally condemned by the various insurgency groups, and the abduction itself was atypical.
