2. Nah, this bunch is generally stupid

but utterly pig ignorant when it comes to anything scientific.

The flu pandemic in the US will be another LIHOP situation. In other words, they'll be warned it's coming and they'll ignore the warnings, refusing to fund the NIH gearing up to develop and produce a vaccine, and distributing it to the American public.

These fools really think their religious lip service and their money will keep them healthy while the rest of us are dying around them.

3. I get the impression that they are just tools.

They may be stupid but that makes it all the more likely
that they are unwitting puppets.

I don't think LIHOP or MIHOP will make much difference if this
horror show scenario goes down.

4. LIHOP, MIHOP, nature is up to the job with or without help.

You cannot leave that much food laying around (us), that ill
fed and living in puddles of our own shit, in massively polluted
environments, and expect that something won't come along pretty
soon to exploit it. The average UnitedStatesian is not that
healthy either, take a look around.

However, you are correct that our leaders are not threatened by
a bit of weeding out, and they expect to get through it somehow.
One of the things about living in an insulated, high-tech, 100%
media-managed environment is it leaves you with an unrealistic
view of how the world works.

But then, nature does have a history of weeding out the unfit, and
these guys fit the description to a tee.
