Attention Minnesota DUers
I caught this LTTE while reading another linked through Buzzflash - so all you MN DUers have some fun:

Inaction is a mistake

Howard Dean (and others of his twisted ilk) is busy bashing the president on every front, including the liberation of Iraq, U.S. guidance, counsel and steady hand in attempting to free its people by democratizing that country and our widespread, simultaneous efforts to stem terrorism wherever it rears its ugly head.

If 9/11 wasn't enough to convince anyone with an I.Q. of 12 or better that terrorism posed an imminent threat, God knows what it may have taken. Imminence was, in fact, an inaccurate understatement — it happened as the planes crashed into the New York towers and 3,000 Americans were needlessly slaughtered because of inaction and pacifism.

We must keep in mind that we're not dealing with rational people, as far as the war against terrorism is concerned.

Hence, inaction would be a tragic mistake and any attempts at negotiation are futile. Relinquishing any control to the U.N. or the likes of France or Germany would be the essence of foolishness. Persistent, proactive, aggressive suppression and eradication of terrorists worldwide is the only solution certain to ensure freedom and liberty worldwide in future years.

1. Jeez, I hope he's not related to Harold Stassen
who would probably turn in his grave if a relative slammed the U.N. like this.
