Freepers don't even deny Delay ethics violations...
Instead of addressing the issue of ethics violations, perhaps even admitting that perhaps the creep did something wrong, they attack the messenger... until one of them starts making sense.

Why, I ask, are these repukes so blind to their own moral failures, yet so quick to point out democratic flaws?

The one freeper who is getting enough oxygen to the brain:

Just a simple question. If the Democrats had tried to change the ethics rules like the Republicans did, would we be screaming from the top of our lungs about how corrupt the Demo's are?

I love Delay, but I also think that if a Democrat had done some of the things that Delay has done, not that they were illegal, but the appearance is not very good. Him taking that trip and then saying he did not know who paid for it is not really believable coming from either party.

I am putting my flamesuit on....

I just want us to be consistent in our criticisms whether they be R. or D.

So once again, if a Democrat had behaved in the same manner as Delay, would we criticize him?

1. Being a Freeper is not about ethics or morality.
It is about power and winning no matter the cost or tactics required.

8. It is also about Superiority and Groupthink and the idea that someday
they will get to imprison or murder Liberals at random in a consequenceless environment such as existed in Mississippi 1938, Nazi Germany 1938 or the Soviet Union 1938.

You know, the funny thing is that the Liberal Democrats Comrade Soulmate Putin recently shut down using the Bushevik Playbook were RIGHT WING.

One of the parties was called "The Union of Right Forces".

This is more about the struggle of Authoritarianism and their Bootlciking Totalitarian Freeper-Followers vs. Freedom and those hwo believe in the Englightment.

2. He'll be "Zitted"................
or "Zotted" or whatever those ditto monkeys call "tomb-stoning" soon. He did not speak the official FR (White House) position. No deviation from the official position is allowed there.
Didn't they just have a big purge there a while back? I seem to remember something about one. Wholesale purging of those who deviated from the "official position".

3. Wrong is wrong no matter who does it.
and we know how fast the GOP rescinds some of their boneheaded ideas when a Democrat gets hold of them. Look at the line item veto idea and how fast they killed that one by running to the Supremes as soon as Clinton got his hands on it.

It seems to be the only way either party realizes an idea is really, really stupid. I mean, who knew having a minimal FICA overpayment go to pay for a war would translate into hiking the premiums 6 times and using them as a back door tax increase on the poorest people? Not Johnson or any of the Dems in Congress! Some of us here in workaday land objected, but who ever listens to we the people?

I can't think of any equivalently dimwitted things the Dems have proposed lately, although I'm sure they'll come up with a few things when they get back into power.

In the meantime, we can't be hampered in speaking out against the outrages the GOP is committing against the heart and soul of the US because of some addlepated notion of fairness. Wrong is wrong, and we are duty bound to speak out against it at all times.

6. If smart they would distance themselves from DeLay
They may soon realize that the party as a whole would look better if they dumped DeLay. They have far more to gain by replacing him than sticking with him.

7. I'll give yellowdoghunter credit for at least noticing the hypocrisy.
Not that I expect him to do much to combat that hypocrisy, and he'll undoubtedly be crucified by fellow freepers for daring to ask such a question. But still good to see at least one of the enemy actually asking a tough question.
