Nevada Pauite Family getting kicked off land by BLM
excerpt:

The Sharpe family has lived in the valley since 1860. Fred Sharpe's great, great grandfather was Chief Tecopa, the leader of the southern Paiutes, whose decision to peacefully co-exist with white settlers earned him a special place in western history....

But a disturbing letter received from the Nye County assessor has turned the Sharpe's world upside down. Nye County was informed by the BLM that the land did not belong to the family after all. The BLM investigated the land's title after inquiries were made by a prominent Pahrump developer. No wonder -- the land is directly in the path of Pahrump's explosive growth, and someone could make a bundle if the grabbed it.

2. THIS STORY REALLY MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL!
I live in Nevada and about 85-90% of the state is BLM land. Why are they kicking this family off of just 160 acres?! HELL - they were here before everybody else!!

AAArhhhh - this pisses me off

4. Now it's the Indians we're attacking.
Let's see, the government is going after women, queers, a-rabs, vets, black people (who had healthy relationships with their masters, HAH), immigrants, and now Indians. Who's next?

(Sorry if I missed somebody... it doesn't mean you don't suffer just as much or more than the people I could think of).

7. This has little to do with Racism - it's economic corruption
PURE AND SIMPLE

A poor family is in the way of greedy developers and our corrupt system is not protecting them. IT wouldn't matter if they were pink with purple polka-dots or related to Jesus Christ himself.

Bow to the almighty $$$
