Voter fraud uncovered in New Mexico (Washington Times propaganda)

"In counting the first 5,000 provisional ballots," Fund reported, "observers turned up 53 instances of individuals voting more than once. They also found four voters who were dead and dozens of felons attempting to vote. In two cases, the same individual tried to vote three times: early, absentee and on Election Day."

The issue is not likely to die a quiet death. New Mexico Secretary of State Rebecca Vigil-Giron asked the state supreme court Monday to overturn a lower court ruling allowing Republican observers into the polls in Sandoval and Dona Ana counties. Vigil-Giron, a Democrat and elected official, is also seeking permission to evict the observers the Bernalillo County clerk allowed in to watch the counting, contending that New Mexico law does not provide for observers to be part of the review process.

President Bush currently leads in New Mexico, a state he lost by 366 votes in 2000 after a disputed vote count. In the 2004 count, Bush is ahead by 8,300 votes, or about 1 percent.

If I read this correctly, their complaint is that the verification process for the provisional ballots is working. They fraudulent ballots are being excluded from the tally. This is the perfect Bush v. Gore tactic, distraction. They must have lost big time in New Mexico.

4. Living in a moral vacuum is a requirement to be an effective
Republican advocate. If they had consciences they wouldn't be Republicans.

5. In Fariness to John Fund
I believe his accuser was pretty thoroughly and publicly discredited.

This provisional ballot stuff is a distraction, but I don't care. Let all the right-wing papers publish more of it. Pretty soon, no one will have the slightest in the results.

10. Yes..he also wrote a book prior to the election about how fraud
eould be the issue this election because of provisional ballots, so the Repubs were ready to toss fraud around too...he was on Lou Dobbs prior to the election pimping the book. I just figured if the boy king didn't win they'd have litigated in every state.

12. Why are they so worried about New Mexico?
Why aren't they acting like Nazi warriors in Ohio?

6. They are setting the stage for something.
This is some sort of trick, but what are they up to? Truth is to these people what light is to a vampire, they certainly don't want a recount. How does this prevent a recount?

They'll surprise us on this, it worries me.
