1. The Grand Coulee star endorses Kerry?
Though Washington is a blue state one couldn't find a more Republican part of the state than where that newspaper is published.

7. Good for Wilmington!
The News and Observer (Raleigh) also endorsed Kerry.

I wasn't able to attend, but the Edwards appearance on the State Fairgrounds Friday night was apparently quite an event--completely packed the arena, with people lined up several-deep outside to hear what was said.

Chances are slim NC will go blue this time, but NC voters are motivated and mobilized. No doubt it will be closer than 2000 here in NC.

What have you done to get out the vote? Redouble your efforts now! Call your friends--call your associates--call anyone with a voter registration card. Tell them to vote for John Kerry and turn this country around. We owe it to our children, to our seniors, to our soldiers, to our working families, and to everyone who hopes that tomorrow in America will be a brighter day.

Let's get it done!

JUST 2 MORE DAYS! NOW MORE THAN EVER--GET OUT THE VOTE!!!

11. Wilmington is coming around ,yes!
My little street in Carolina has 5 K/E signs, no B/C
First time ever! One of the condo complexes tried to put Republican Candidate signs out front and the Democrats that lived there protested and won! We are finally learning to speak up.

3. Republican Editors Can't Stand By their Man in 2004
Since 1940 when industry trade magazine Editor & Publisher began tracking newspapers during presidential elections, only two Democratic candidates -- Lyndon Johnson in 1964 and Bill Clinton in 1992 -- have ever won more endorsements than their Republican opponent.

In 2000, Bush picked up nearly 100 more daily endorsements than Gore

In 2004, with 422 newspapers having reported, Kerry has nearly doubled Bush in both endorsements and total circulation
Kerry - 247 endorsements - 24.3 Million total circulation
Bush - 159 endorsements - 12.4 Million total circulation

2004 -- 63 Republican Editors/Papers Who Endorsed Bush in 2000 Leave the Ship

12. Muskogee (Oklahoma) Daily Phoenix endorses KERRY!!
http://www.muskogeephoenix.com/news/stories/20041031/opinion/1513081.html

Country needs change at helm

The 2004 presidential candidates have presented a contrast in styles and philosophy, and the Editorial Board is cognizant that many Oklahomans are devoted to the ideology and convictions of President George Bush.

While the board holds many of those convictions, it also believes the country needs a change of leadership, one that can build a better working relationship with the rest of the world. Sen. John Kerry is a proven leader. Whatever some may say, he has been in battle, served his country at war and returned dedicated to service in government.

Problems the country faced four years ago, such as the health care crisis, have not been dealt with by the Bush administration. And it has been responsible in part for a soaring national debt that had been in check four years ago.

We believe Kerry will deal with those issues and has the intelligence and leadership abilities for success.

doesn't exactly use the words, the

isn't favorable to Bush.
