Bush already has plans to influence IAEA if reelected...

After Bush got nailed by the IAEA this election, he wants to make sure they never do this to him again.

IAEA Head Seen Unswayed by U.S. Hostility to New Term

19 minutes ago World - Reuters

By Marcus Kabel

VIENNA (Reuters) - The head of the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency is unlikely to drop plans for a new term despite U.S. anger after pre-election revelations of missing Iraq (news - web sites) explosives, a diplomat close to the agency said Saturday.

A senior U.S. official said Friday the Bush administration would seek to unseat International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Mohamed ElBaradei if Bush is re-elected president.

He accused ElBaradei of interfering in next week's U.S. election after the IAEA reported that 377 tons of explosives had gone missing from an Iraqi site which the U.S. military had not secured.

But the diplomat close to the IAEA said ElBaradei "enjoys huge support from the majority of member countries of the IAEA.

4. done...
...as you know the headline does not always reflect the intent of the content. I do see how the rule is important - since latest breaking news - is just that - and not a place to post opinions - thanks

6. bush needs to blame HIS HANDPICKED IRAQI GOVT
Coz THEY are the ones that went public first, NOT the IAEA.

The IAEA has a DUTY to report what they're told. They did their duty.

Of course bush wants everyone in the entire world to SHUT UP if it's anything that could upset his political agenda. TOO BAD, BUSH.

And this is also just more of what's WRONG with America...the entire world DOES NOT revolve around the USA. If more Americans understood that, we'd have far fewer problems.
