7. amen to the CNN remark
we don't have a real idea of how things are going because journalists can't get the true story-I wonder would it matter with this Mary Cheney thing taking up so much space-with war, massive government debt and an economy running on empty I am literally in shock at how bad the news coverage is

10. No, they can and do get the real story
Edited on Sat Oct-16-04 09:12 AM by tinanator
you and I and anybody can. It is their bosses, our captors, who will not permit the free flow of information. Let us at least keep the truth in perspective and hold the guilty accountable, not their front puppets. That bullshit was MWO's modus operandi.

5. Let's not forget the 10s of thousands of Iraqi dead
They would be alive if Bush had told the truth. Each of them had families to grieve, as well.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Car bombs killed five U.S. troops in Iraq (news - web sites), the U.S. military said Saturday, the latest in a string of such attacks at the start of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. Blasts also targeted five churches in the Iraqi capital.

The two car bombs went off Friday, the military said. One, carried out by a suicide bomber driving an explosive-laden vehicle, targeted a U.S. patrol near the town of Qaim, an insurgent hotspot near the border with Syria, killing four U.S. troops, according to Lt. Col. Chris Woodbridge, commander of the 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment.

The other blast went off in the northern city of Mosul, 225 miles north of Baghdad, killing a U.S. soldier assigned to Task Force Olympia, the military said.

11. This is getting so frightening- troops must be extremely demoralized
Edited on Sat Oct-16-04 09:13 AM by wishlist
Incredibly on ABC evening news last night I heard no mention of any American troop casualties this week (this often happens when Peter Jennings is not anchoring) and so far today no mention of these new casualties on CNN or MSNBC.

16. At least 28 soldiers killed in Iraq this week.
Where is the outrage? CNN's Headline News is still reporting the Mary Cheney horseshit, but not a breath about the carnage in Iraq this week.

17. more blood in Bush's hand
how he can look himself in the mirror every morning when he shaves is beyond me, actually I think he smirks with pleasure every time an American is blown up to pieces in Iraq. Like Malloy says, have I mentioned today how I hate this people?

18. Why are you wasting our beautiful minds on this?
I mean, it's not relevant. John Kerry is a bad man. Bad! He talked about Cheney's daughter and, hoo boy, Dick is one angry father!
