U.S. Iraq Military Deaths - 1,061 members of the U.S. military have died

As of Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, 1,061 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq (news - web sites) war in March 2003, according to the Defense Department. Of those, 806 died as a result of hostile action and 255 died of non-hostile causes. The figures include three military civilians.

1. Cheney is including all of the Iraqi deaths, mostly caused by the U.S.

and trying to include Iraqis fighting on our side as part of the coalition. Talk about cooking numbers, but then what do you expect from a Halliburton CEO???
