say... cabbage. 300mg per day is what you will most likely find out there.... it works best if it contains DIM as well.
I think some pharmco paid like 2 million to have a research specialist figure out what it was doing inside the cancerous tissue several years ago... perhaps 5.... and the fact of the matter is that it just turns off (at the DNA level) the process that promotes the aberrant growth.
Saying that you cannot take 300mg of I3C a day... would be like saying that a half pound or better of cabbage a day would harm you in some way.... and we know how much sauerkraut has been eaten over the years... after the Tamox course, (which I am not in agreement with) this stuff could be a real winner for her... and if you find the right medical doc... it could even be a real winner DURING the Tamox.
Also... fish oils are protective against breast cancer... "protective against" something you may want to read also... since you could benefit from its protective effects now. The ratio between the healthy fats and the bad fats sets one up for a low grade inflammatory process.... correcting this balance by consuming omega threes and other healthy fats diminishes the body's desire to remain in a low grade inflammatory state. That is a good thing.

Researchers evaluated over 250 patients with breast cancer and analyzed their fat relative to 90 women without breast cancer.
The analysis showed that there was indeed a protect effect of omega-3 fatty acids on breast cancer risk and supports the imperative balance of the omega-3 to omega-6 ratio as being important in the development of breast cancer.
