New tape shows Ken Bigley

British hostage Ken Bigley has appeared in a new video tape, according to Arab TV channel al Jazeera.


In the recording Mr Bigley is reported to have renewed his appeal for Tony Blair to meet the kidnappers' demands.

Earlier Mr Bigley's brother Paul has said he is upbeat about the possibility of his release after an Islamic website claimed he would be freed.
