Security Measures Failed to Spot Protesters (Blair aides furious)
http://news.scotsman.com/latest.cfm?id=3558215

A multi-million pound security operation today failed to prevent dramatic protests marring Tony Blair’s Labour conference speech.

Demonstrations over Iraq and hunting interrupted the Prime Minister’s keynote address to the Brighton gathering.

Mr Blair coolly dealt with the disturbances but aides were furious at TV footage of him being harangued from the audience.

Three men were arrested and three other protesters were ejected after having their conference passes confiscated.

All delegates and visitors are subjected to police background checks before being given passes allowing them into the “ring of steel” protecting the conference complex.

“It is more a breach of trust between these individual and the Labour Party,” she said.

staged and set-up over there just like here in "Murka"?

3. Really bad sign for Blair
“It is more a breach of trust between these individual and the Labour Party,” she said.

When people are willing to sacrifice their standing with - evidently -their own party, you know things have gotten terribly bad.

Unless you're Zell Miller. Then you're just nuts.
